Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We started our new Module today (Module 5). We will be working on Tally Tables, Picture Graphs, and Bar Graphs. I will post test dates in advance to allow time for review/studying. Along with our Module, we will be working on Subtraction 0-10 Math Facts.
Today we have started the chapter “What Makes Up the Solar System.” We will also cover constellations and moon phases in this unit. This should last until the end of this nine week period.
We will have a math test over Module 4 on Thursday. A study guide was completed and sent home on Monday. The test was planned for Wednesday but due to scheduling changes with the Performance Series testing for Math, I had to move the Module 4 test date.
We should finish reading The Lemonade War tomorrow. This is a fourth grade level book and is worth four AR points. I have previewed the AR test and there doesn’t appear to be anything on the test that will throw the students for a loop! This test is optional. If you would like for your student to test on this book next week, then I will be happy to give them the quiz number, so they can test next Wednesday in the computer lab.
Please email me any questions you may have at k.stewart@grady.k12.ga.us
Thanks!
My homeroom students will have a test on seasonal changes this Wednesday. I will test Mrs. Fowler and Ms. Maxwell’s homeroom on Thursday. We will complete a study guide in class. Students may take the study guide as well as their interactive notebooks home to use for study purposes. Also, I will plan on taking my homeroom students to the Book Fair tomorrow. Please send money if you would like for your child to make a purchase.
Thanks!
All of our students were super excited about the cloud experiment on Tuesday! Thanks to Mrs. Bell for sending in the bottles!
