Mrs. Fowler-ELA

I just want to take a moment to thank all our parents for a wonderful year!  I cannot believe how fast it has flown by.  This has been a GREAT group of students this year and I will truly miss them!

If your child is interested, we didn’t finish reading Runaway Ralph by Beverly Cleary.  This would be a great summer read or read-to.  There is also another book Ralph S. Mouse to complete the trilogy.

Have a great summer and READ, READ, READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jean shorts, tennis shoes, and a red, yellow, or green t-shirt. If you

have a Mexican sombrero hat, they can wear it.

**Last day of school is a half day—dismissal is at 11:50. Students may

leave after the talent show, but please sign them out with their teacher

and pick-up their report card.

Science test

All students will take the science test on Animal life cycles on Wednesday, May 13.  We will complete a study guide in class on Monday.

The constructed response will be to write about the life cycle of an animal which you have learned.  This will be graded according to the informative writing rubric that the County uses.  Students should have a topic sentence, detail sentences with transition words, and a sum it up sentence.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
