Students will have a test on all covered social studies content on Wednesday. We will complete a study guide in class on Monday, and it will be sent home for study purposes. Students may also take their interactive notebooks home Monday and Tuesday. They have great notes that also serve as great study aids! Please make sure you return your child’s social studies textbook, as I will have to collect it before I issue the next textbook. The study guide and test will finalize grades for social studies for this nine week grading period.

Please send in your child’s second composition notebook, as we will use that for our science interactive notebooks. Science will begin on Thursday. Our unit of study will be seasonal changes and weather.

We are now allowed to enter grades in PowerSchool.

Grades:
Please check your child’s yellow homework folder this week for papers coming home. I know you are anxious to see graded work in Reading and Writing since the PowerSchool portal is not up.

Reading Story:
We are currently reading Mr. Putter and Tabby Pour the Tea. Please have your child read this story aloud to you at least twice before the test next week. This really makes a big difference!
