All library books are due tomorrow before you leave for Christmas break. Also, if you are checking your child out after the Christmas program, please do so in your child’s homeroom classroom.

Whigham’s 7th graders will be performing a drama production entitled Wake Up Santa next Tuesday at 1:45. The production will last about 30 minutes and is open to everyone. We are looking forward to attending!

It is time again for us to begin our extended text (chapter book) for this nine weeks. For the next 7 days or so, we will change from our regular reading group routine and I will be reading aloud from the book MIdnight on the Moon. Just like last time, we will not have spelling or vocabulary words and we will not have a written reading test on this book. Instead, we will be writing and completing work in class daily that goes along with the book and students will be encouraged to take an Accelerated Reader quiz when we have finished.
