Welcome back after a short summer! I am the English/Language Arts teacher for second grade. My class includes reading, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and writing. We will be using the newly adopted Journeys reading series this year. This means brand new books! However, I plan to start the year off with a unit on fables. This will allow us to “get back in the groove” of school and read some classic stories with great lessons and morals. I am looking forward to a fun year full of learning!!
